The Southeast region of the United Sates is home to some of the best Modified drivers in the country. This is their place to race. Welcome to the Southeast Dirt Modified Series .
The series kicked off its inaugural season in 2016 when Derrick Ramey took the championship. During the first season 118 different drivers raced in 16 events across 3 states.
The second season for the series saw Billy Workman Jr top the field and was crowned the series second Champion at Virginia Motor Speedway’s season finale. At the conclusion of the 2017 season, SEDMS announced it would not operate during the 2018 season.
After a two year break the series is set to return with a limited schedule in 2020 and back at full strength in 2021.
